the cosby show was by far one of if not the most important show i watched as a child. to this day it remains one of my favorites and one i would love for my kids to watch. in the sixties kids wanted to be bradys, in the seventies they wanted to be partridges, well in the eighties i wanted to be a huxtable. they were fun, loving, caring and always there for each other and not to mention loaded. they also had theo and i crushed on him for years. it's fair to say i grew up watching the show (episode one aired two days before my 3rd birthday and the finale aired in april of 1992 when i was 10). to me they were the cool family that you wanted to be like, and i loved that they answered the phone "Huxtable residence" that was very posh to me. i didn't have a big family, it was just me, mom and dad, and to see this huge family and how they all loved each other and had so much fun made me realize that's what i wanted when i grew up. i mean, i had working parents too but they most definately weren't doctors or lawyers. i grew up in a lower-middle class family. the cosby's were my escape. bill cosby molded my young mind in a wonderful way and i will always be thankful.
ps. apprenticeship didn't work out

You also want a collection of cool, multi-tonal sweaters.
