Wall-E was just wonderful. pixar has really outdone themselves this time. the story is beautiful. finding humanity and love when you think its long gone, it's a breath of fresh air. the message is one that is really needed today. after cleaning up the planet for 700 years we meet wall-e in what was once manhattan. he is the last remaining robot and lives with is cockroach buddy in an abandoned service truck. when he meets eve he is instantly in love but eve's directive is to find organic plant life and report back to the ship so the humans can come back to earth. wall-e follows eve back to the ship concerned for her (she shuts down and acts as a tracking device when she finds the plant). what follows is wall-e's jouney of love and support while eve tries to follow with her directive. the humans are a real sight to see with robots and technology doing all the work for them. they were forced into space 700 years ago when the earth became too polluted to live in thanks to the disposable lifestyle afforded to them by the Buy 'N' Large corporation. wall-e opens their eyes and sparks their imaginations. humanity and love in a robot rubs off on the human race. i highly recommend this move to anyone and everyone.
