trekker

as most of you know the new star trek movie came out this weekend. and being a loyal trekker i was there opening night and i am very glad i was. it is not, i repeat not canon star trek. you just have to remember that none of this is really real in the first place, and all works out pretty well. the characters are rock solid, the actors are astonishingly like their predecessors and the plot is immensely entertaining sci-fi. this is perhaps the sexiest nerd movie ever made, i mean seriously spock totally gave me a hard on and bones is delicious. the action is fun to watch and the special effects are excellent. go see it. and don't bitch about how it effects the originals, its alternate reality and comics do it all the time and it works perfectly. go see it!
